At PLK DESIGN, we believe a home should be more than beautiful - it should feel unmistakably yours.

We are a luxury interior design studio with a considered, deeply personal approach to creating spaces of lasting elegance. Every project begins with listening: to how you live, what you love, and the way a space should make you feel. From that understanding, we craft interiors that are both visually refined and genuinely liveable - environments where extraordinary design and everyday comfort exist in perfect balance.

Our portfolio spans some of Australia's most prestigious addresses, with high-end residential projects across Toorak, the Gold Coast, and Airlie Beach. Our work extends beyond the home - most notably to the superyacht Askari, a custom FD103 Horizon yacht delivered in 2022. Askari's interiors designed by Peter Kerr, Principal Designer at PLK DESIGN, earned global recognition, winning the Main Salon category at the 2023 Design et al International Yacht & Aviation Awards in Venice, Italy.

Our process is detailed and collaborative. We curate the finest materials, furnishings, and finishes, drawing on a trusted network of makers and suppliers to bring each vision to life with precision and care. Whether transforming an entire home or reimagining a single space, we bring the same level of dedication to every detail - because it's the details that define true luxury.

In 2025, Peter founded Sissonne Outdoor, a premium outdoor furniture brand with showrooms in Hawthorn and Southport.
